Playing Monday in a South Texas PGA Shamble there.
Haven't play there in a few years, should be a good time.

A golf buddy plays there regularly and says it’s always in fantastic shape.

Would like to hear your thoughts on it.
I live less than a mile away. I can't afford it now, but maybe in the future id be interested in a membership there.

Played yesterday for the first time. Course was aerated recently but was in good shape. I thought it was a nice layout, think we played England and Scotland. I was told initiation is $3k and around $600 a month. If i lived that close to the course, I would definitely give it consideration.

I believe that it is the kind of course that will make you a better player overall.
Things like different angles from each tee boxes, the wind can be rough and huge bunkers .
A windy day there will add a lot of yardage.
Nice clubhouse, people are friendly.
