Is there anything I can pour in open joints in driveway to eliminate weeds from growing? ie salt or something?

Diesel if you don't want to use something like round up.

Polymeric sand. Good luck. I have 3-car garage and a pavered driveway. The battle never ends. Keep a spray bottle of weed killer handy too. I make my own weed killer from vinegar, salt and dishwashig detergent.

Or walk the driveway with a sprayer of Roundup once or twice a month.
