the show is interesting. Thing I don't understand is, the crew seems like they have no idea or experience with ships, boats, and equipment.

these yahoos throw stink bombs on the deck of the whaler ship and try to tangle ropes in the prop of this ship. Then they put two crew members on the whaler ship and claim they are being held hostage. The whalers should just cap their arse and sell their meat as whale meat.

No shite. I watched that tonight and kept waiting for them to find a whaling boat and get handled.
I honestly thnk this is the audience Animal Planet is going for - people who want to see the granolas get spanked, which is why they're saving it for future episodes.

To me it seems like a death wish. The Japs could dump the hippies bodies and say the fell lover. Or they could destroy the small boats and no one would ever know what happened.

My husband and I watched that show the other night and oh my god are those people on that boat a bunch of freaks...the fact that they would suggest that two crew members jump on board the Japanese whaling ship is just stupid. I knew they were a bunch of freaks in the first episode when they mentioned that all the meals were Vegan....

actually, the japs tried to throw one of the guys who invaded their ship overboard
