re: Bond Films Rewatch

I think y’all always disrespect Moore in these threads. For Your Eyes Only and The Spy Who Loved Me are incredible movies. I’d have them in my top 5 Bond movies. I don’t think any of them aren’t entertaining. While Brosnan oozes 007 vibes and Craig nails the bravado with some emotion, some of their movies are just bleh.

Sounds awesome. The Netflix doc on Elvis’s comeback special was amazing. I, like Billy Corgan, am now extremely disappointed that there isn’t more footage of Elvis just being himself and jamming with other artists. The little we have is incredible.
I pulled the trigger and got these. However, Bluetooth doesn’t penetrate water. What type of iPhone strap do you use for swimming?

I can attest that most LSU fans will be throwing boulders if they don’t get into the playoffs.

Hell, the first time they don’t convert a third down in game one folks will be ready to fire him.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the India Pale Ale was identified as the most popular style, serving as the top pick in 21 states. Just behind it, though, is the stout, which has been surging in popularity stateside in recent years, and claims the top spot in 20 states. But while some states might be split between their love for the IPA and the stout, there is one common thread: Americans love high-ABV brews. Of the 51 favorites, 28 are imperial-strength beers.

Alabama hasn’t caught up to the stout’s popularity yet. It’s annoying going to a place that has a crap ton of crafts on tap in December and not one stout. Who wants a sour or a juicy IPA in the middle of winter?

Louisiana-DDH Ghost.

Alabama- Good People Hitch Hiker IPA. This must be a seasonal, I’ve never seen it. I’m surprised it wasn’t Trim Tab IPA. It’s rated pretty high on Untappd.
Yep. Red Stripe and Killian’s was my addition as well.

I just finished an incredible book. It’s nonfiction, and combines the Cold War military with an amazing biography.

It’s called Boyd. It’s about a fighter pilot who is likely the most influential military strategist since Sun Tzu.

I wonder how much is due to the rise of pot. Not saying that's bad I just wonder if that's a big part of it.
About 99%.

It’s “bad” only in that for some reason, being stoned and smelling like weed all day has lost its stigma. When I have carline duty, I notice parents who drop their kids off and pick them up reeking of marijuana. Unlike alcohol, which when people smell it on you in the middle of the work day, raises a lot of flags.
CBS, and I am assuming vicariously, Paramount, have been instituting diversity requirements in writer’s rooms for years. They don’t know anything about (whatever show subject matter, in this case, Star Trek) the subject of the show. So they write about what they know, and insert it into the story.
High school diplomas are already an attendance award, why not make college degrees the same thing?

Heck, can’t I just write a check? That’s all they really want anyway.
Allow students to drop out at 16 instead of 17.

There are so many juniors who are wasting taxpayer money. Get rid of them and focus on the ones that come to class and give a damn. And frankly, what employer cares if you have a high school diploma after the age of 21?
Yes.

Assuming that other factors have been ruled out like

Resentment, physical attraction, high stress, depression, etc. often lead to women not being attracted to their spouses.

Dolphins vs. Redskins.

The first one in which I watched a lot of was Raiders vs. Redskins
It took my son a minute. He worked for a cabinet company for a little over a year, but now he’s actually using his architecture degree in Bossier City.
I’ve called it tactical parking. But I don’t know if it ever got into the American lexicon.

I think you are pissed because people pull through the spot sometimes, and if it’s a small car, you don’t see it. And now you have to find a different spot.

I’m not sure I agree that is more exclusive to black women.
Last year on the Appalachian Trail it was all over the place. I had to cut my hike short one week. It was the most wiped out I’ve ever been. I violently vomited several times and then slept for two days.

It spreads from direct contact with poop or vomit molecules. It’s easy to understand why it would spread in a place with little soap or hot water like the woods, not so much a civilized area.
I believe you…but I’m kind of a cheapskate.

While I am as regular as a German train schedule with regards to dropping the kids off at the pool before 7 AM everyday, you poop when you poop.
