Any idea why Willie took Herb off SGA last night? He was guarding him in the first half and had him locked up with only 10 points. 2nd half Willie threw Richardson at him for a lot of the time even when Herb was in the game. Anyone have any advanced stats on that?

Herb got roasted a bit in the 3rd when they tried to let him guard him 1-on-1 in the third. First half they were taking the ball out of his hands.
Apparently, Willie got scared of Lou Dort so he went away from it in the 3rd and got shredded.
Went back to the trapping in the 4th and it worked and of course, scrubs like Dort started missing.

He didn't take him off of him on purpose, they were getting the switch more often in the 2nd half. SGA even commented on it in the post game interview. They came out with a better gameplan in the 3rd.

Willie is always reactive and never proactive. There are a couple benchwarmers who should have been in the rotation all year, but mysteriously never saw the floor.
