Trying to find someplace to go for Memorial Day weekend when school is out. Wife was looking at Hyatt resort at Huntington Beach. We can fly free and looks fairly reasonable. Sat-Wed. Any of you familiar with the area. Ok for kids? Have 10 yr old

The family and I go here a couple of times a year and it's very family friendly. There are a ton of restaurants on Main St across from the pier and a playground that looks like a pirate ship that is about 1/4 mile North of the pier.

The one in your OP, Hyatt resort at Huntington Beach, is great and it's where my wife and I stayed on our wedding night 13 years ago. It's walking distance to the beach, pier, and restaurants. The Hilton Waterfront right next door is great too.
