Pixies in concert

Saw them recently on tour. They absolutely rifle through a set list. 29-30 songs in 1 1/2 hrs. I'm guessing because most venues have a curfew. The only time there is any pause is when they are changing guitars but it's one song after another. Played all the hits. Still sound amazing live. If you're a fan definitely catch one of their shows.

I'm going next Saturday night at Southside Ballroom in Dallas. This will be my 5th Pixies show. They don't say anything to the crowd in between songs. Ever. They just play. And play. No frills. And they are legends. I can't wait.

I've watched their live concerts, even have their Coachella and Live at Brixton Academy vinyl. Never new they rifled through songs like that. It's pretty amazing to experience live.

That concert and that song at that show in particular is one of the best ever. Oh to have been there.
Pixies - Tame (live 1991 Brixton Academy, London)
ETA: have seen them twice at The Ryman.

Exactly what I was referencing. Love it. They should have been HUGE.
