ESPN layoffs

Jeff Van Gundy and Jalen Rose included. That really hurts their NBA coverage. Why they keep hacks like Kendrick Perkins and Stephen A. Smith while letting go guys like Van Gundy and Rose is mystifying.

Stephen A is half the network. Jalen was doomed once Jacoby left because all he really had left was Countdown and they change Countdown's group every season. Perk is fricking awful and not sure who likes him but he's relatively new there so he probably doesn't make too much like longtimers JVG and Jalen.

My Tv got to the point where the channel automatically changes when Perkins comes on. It really is a Smart TV.

Perkins does a lot of the in-studio stuff, JVG can literally be phased out immediately with no replacement because he works as part of a 3 person booth
Now why he’s the member of that booth being phased out is a MUCH better question.
