Takeaways from tonight’s game

Daniels: The most polished player on the floor on both sides of the ball. Crawford stole my thunder on the broadcast saying he’s a young Ben Simmons with a better shot. I’d say a young Ben Simmons with a slightly better shot. I would like to see Daniels anchor a second unit as a primary defender and facilitator on offense.
Hawkins: Still looks a bit lost out there. Shot isn’t there this summer league for whatever reason. Obviously can’t judge anything off 4 summer league games but I’d be a it more comfortable if he wasn’t shooting 20% from deep. Unless he picks up that percentage we won’t see him at all in the regular season.
Seabron: Dude is a pure scorer. Would love to see him on the roster (I think he already has a 2 way) as an instant grits type player ala Jordan Crawford from recent memory. He’s a black hole on offense but if he’s scoring in a primarily backup role who cares?
Liddell: Love his intensity and defense. Hopefully he can continue to improve his game. Not sure if he cracks the lineup much in the absence of injuries but we aren’t heavy at the 4 so he might get some time in.
It was a fun game to watch. We can’t shoot free throws for shite though.

Jamaal Crawford needs to be a full time commentator. He had some great insight and has been around long enough to play with multiple generations of the league. He’s got a great tone to his voice as well.

Agreed on Crawford. He was great

We need to get Crawford a spot on the staff.

Let’s hope not.

Dyson’s shot will improve as the season goes on. His shot looked good before the injury.
