Are there any competitive TD leagues open without a buy in?

Looking for a competitive league where people don’t drop out, but not have to spend the cash.
Preferably full PPR, but open to regular, dynasty, or keeper leagues.
I’m interested in starting a new one if wanted.

In my experience, leagues that are free and competitive don't really exist. Hope you find one, though.

Hell I’m in a random paid dynasty and the turnover is ridiculous

This. If you create one this year, you're going to have 25% dead teams and closer to 50% that drop out or don't respond next year.
That being said, I'll check back in on this thread down the road to see if you need owners.
I just dropped out of a league that has been around for 10+ years because 8 of the 12 owners were related and I was one of the outsiders. It didn't start out that way, but over time, uncles and brothers took over abandoned teams. Some sketchy stuff happened last year between some of the family members so I decided I'd give up my team. Aside from my 24 year old dynasty team, I don't really have anything else...

Competitive free league is a bit of an oxymoron.

I would never join a completely random dynasty league.
I am in year 4 of one now where I knew well over half of the 12 owners and we still had drama and turnover.
I can't imagine one that is completely random.

Not TD, but I've been on FantasySharks since 2004. There's a tiering of leagues up to the "Great White Shark League" (made it twice). It's free unless you want to contribute some to the site to keep it going. I'd say it's competitive, and it gets more so as you move up the ranks.
