Les defending the defense

Even though the Rebels gained more than 400 yards, Miles was not upset with how the defense played.
"Look at the defense and how they played Saturday," Miles said. "If not for the fake punt, the first drive with the busted coverage and a couple of long passes, they played pretty good."

I agree, that is a pretty good day.......for a slightly above average Big 12 team. That doesn't cut it in the SEC. I hope Les learns that really soon and makes the change he needs to make.

Agree, but Les Miles needs to find was to get his coaches to keep his players more focus on what's at hand and let them play.

Playing good on 1st and 2nd down and then giving up 3rd and 17. I guess you can find a silver lining in anything if you look hard enough. I would rather give up a big play blitzing and playing man coverage. At least people know where to go. They are obviously confused with zone coverage.
