Any of you guys ever pay for your food at Burger King and drive off before receiving it?

I almost did that tonight. I paid with my debit card and then caught myself driving off before even getting the food. I stopped in time to keep my place in line.
I’ve come close to doing that several real times whenever I’m distracted and have a lot on my mind. Any of you guys ever done something dumb like that?

I’ve driven off several times, but it’s all been related to me being on my phone and not paying attention

No, but I drove off with my order and when I went to eat my Whopper it didn't have any meat. No beef patty. It was a mayo, ketchup, lettuce and tomato sandwich.

There is this hottie Chick-fil-A female who talks with me all the time. If I were 30 years younger, I would give that whale the ride of her life. I guess I eat there too much.

We have no BKs around here ... they've all BK'd.

Half the times I have gone to BK, my food hasn’t even been bagged. Also, I do mobile ordering so they get their money when I hit submit, so it would be a unicorn if I paid at the window.
To the upper managers and owners of fast food restaurants, tell your lower employees to stop with the games of toying with the drive thru sensors. It makes no sense unless you are incentivizing fast service, but your employees are stealing from you by tricking the sensors.
The only way to get an accurate time is to mystery shop your own stores and time their drive through experience. The games of clearing the orders early and hitting the sensor with a bread tray or making you wait until they are ready to pull you forward or even have you pull up or pull around again are stupid.
