don't know how accurate this might be, but there's some chatter in this thread on volnation that LSU could land Orgeron.

They think Monte Kiffin is going to be the DC and Orgeron as the DL/recruiting coordinator? I doubt that happens.

Yeah, that's my thing too..I can't see the man taking a pay cut to make a move down on the career ladder..if he's going back to college I'd imagine it's either as a DC or a head coach somewhere.

Orgeron isn't going to make a lateral move from the NFL to college (unless the money is alot better). It works the other way.

Whats the deal with CLM and EdO having tension?
I know he wanted a job at LSU after last season and didnt get taken seriously but other than that idk.

I hope that Orgeron never comes within 100 miles of Baton Rouge again. He has too much baggage and I would be very leery of hiring him on to coach our beloved team.

read Meat Market by Bruce Feldman. Orgeron wouldn't see it as a lateral move, and really would worry about the money if it were close to what he's getting now. He loves, loves, loves to recruit. And I guarantee we wouldn't have any lackluster effort on the D-Line if he were here.

Are you retarded? Yea, Ole Miss sucked. So he wasn't cut out to be a HC. No question not only is he a great recruiter though, hes a outstanding d-line coach.
