the farewell tour .... it's wild how ALL of the original band members from 1970 are still alive and on this tour.
this band is an absolute throwback and still going stronger than ever.

Joey Kramer is not playing drums on this tour so it is not all the original members.

I thought they were pretty good when I saw them in New Orleans a few years ago.

I saw them when I was a teenager. City Park Stadium in either 1974 or 1975. To This day, I have never been around so many stoned-out-of-their-gourd people in my life.

Imagine still rocking out in arenas at 75 like Steven Tyler.

I've seen both bands.
About 25+- years ago I was visiting my younger brother here in Richmond & Q94, a local radio station was at a Peaches record store giving away 94 tickets to the show @ the Richmond Coliseum that night. Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, & Joey Kramer were there signing albums, shirts, girl's chests, etc...Got my little movie/carnival type ticket stub for a chance to win as they called out about ten winners every 15 minutes. Decided to go back to the table where two dudes were handing out the tickets for a chance to win figuring they wouldn't remember me or care & got a second stub/chance. A couple minutes later they started calling out winning ticket numbers, & the first number called was in my hand. Went and collected my voucher, then came back talkin' sh*t to my brother & handed him the other stub I had & told him now he's got two chances to win. Several minutes later they started calling another group of winning numbers & about 3 numbers in the extra ticket I had just handed my brother was the one that made sure we were both going to the show that night.
Good Times.
