A boy from Arkansas in a band with Canadians. He brought Robbie Robertson’s Southern influenced lyrics to life(and Dylan’s of course) His solo work and Midnight Rambles were also stellar.
Best of Levon

I like Levon but add Karen Carpenter (as someone else said) and Don Henley.

No doubt. Levon was heads and tails superior to anyone.

The correct answer is Phil Collins.

I love Levon (Elton John did too).
I would like to include Don Henley in there.

What no mention of Fred Leblanc yet?
Just kidding, I'm going Sheila E.

BTW, Chris Cornell was originally the drummer.

Peter Criss deserves mention. Hard Luck Woman, Black Diamond, Hooligan, etc.

Ringo Starr, the greatest Beatle.

I'd argue that Phil Collins is more talented in both aspects.
Also, Dave Grohl would like a word.

Marvin Gaye played drums for the recordings of "Dancing in the streets" and "Wait a minute Mr Postman" and several other songs... But I don't know of any playing/singing on the same song. Which of all the instruments... Drums seem the most difficult, maybe it's because of the effort needed. Overall though, I would go Don Henley. Just watched a live performance from '78 or so in S Dakota of Hotel California ... Great video on YouTube

Yeah I know the board hates Henley but I think he's the winner overall. Not the best drummer, but the best singer.

IMO it’s a boy from Ohio who is the best singer/drummer/guitarist/songwriter
Dave Grohl
