I heard today that coach O wants 2 stay in Louisiana, its either stay with N.O. or come to LSU. But who really knows. We all are just going to have to sit back and see how all of this unfolds.

If true, get ready for Louisiana recruits to start listing Tennessee as one of their favorites. A focused Coach O on the recruiting trail is not something you want to deal with. I have spoken to La. High School coaches who hate Ole Miss but loved O while he was there. The guy is a great recruiter.

so has anyone said that he may get the axe with the Saints? i mean he is in the NFL and very close to home. Why go to Tenn as a DC?

i really really want o as our dline coach. i don't think chavis is an outstanding dc anymore, buy i certainly think our lb play would improve w/ him. no doubt the two together would def. help out our front seven.

It's pretty much a forgone conclusion that the Saints will be looking for a new defensive coordinator when the season ends, which means the new DC for the Saints would likely want his own staff.

I agree; as a Cajun living in beautiful North Carolina, I can say that living in Louisiana has to be a big draw for LSU over Tennessee. The temperature is awful, but boy you miss the boudin, crawfish, and...home.
