Going up next month and was wondering what the best place I could actually get on at.
North Little Rock to Rogers.

Stonebridge Meadows is the best public course in Fayetteville. If I were you though, I would play Eagle Crest in Alma, since you are driving right by it. I really like that course a lot, the zoysia fairways provide an excellent lie. Bella Vista is only 15 minutes past Rogers, and I like all of their courses. My top three there would be BV Country Club, Scottsdale, and Highlands.

I've played Springdale CC for industry tournaments and it's a nice course. Not sure if you have to golf with a member or can book a tee time.
Played BV Country Club twice this summer, once in an industry tournament and once with family. On Saturday, they booked me, my son, and nephew with a single and had us in an AM shotgun start with everyone else.
Bella Vista's range was down the road a bit so we just started out cold. Their bar didn't open till 11:00 am so we didn't see the beverage cart either time we played.
Before the industry tournament started, guys were running to the nearest c-store to grab beer to start the round.

FYI, they don't have a beverage cart. You just have to order from the bar before you tee off and at the turn. I don't think I've seen one in NW Arkansas since I've moved here TBH.

We’re going to re route our trip to hit up Mystic Creek in El Dorado, play there on Thursday and then play Stonebridge Meadows on Friday when we get to Fayetteville.

That’s what we tried to do during the scramble tournament and learned they didn’t open the bar till 11:00 am. By the time they opened we weren’t close to the turn and maybe had 4-5 holes left.
They missed out on some money that morning.

yes I like Springdale CC, but could only play it with a member. Paradise Valley in Fayetteville has tee times open to the public. Sometimes you can get a really good deal there on the Golfnow app.

It's a shitshow to get on via GolfNow because it's ready golf for members, but the green complexes are some of the best I've seen on a muni. I might have just caught it on a good week but they were prestine. There are a lot of hard shots on the course.
