The internet doesn't audibly chuckle much but this one got me pretty good..

No Vacancy was good, but I did not care for West Texas Degenerate at all.

I've seen them live and its a good show, but the crowd was god awful, one of the worst I've ever been in.

Pretty much agree with this assessment from everything I have heard. I’m not going to completely judge the Oline until Ramil is healthy.

Also, 100% agree on Nimrod. Heard he’s been explosive.
Mantis Rubstavicus is a done deal from what I hear.
I think we’d take him either way. Believe Magwood is on his way out.
I don’t believe so, but supposedly he and Tiller had some issues.

Magoon Gwath from UNLV is in the portal. His name was floated last year a bit.
Have a close friend (former player)

That got to watch practice last week, he said that the intensity is completely different than it was under Hugh and he loved Hugh.

He said the offensive line isn't overly talented, but they seemed very fundamentally sound. (i trust him he started for multiple SEC schools)

Defensive Line is nasty said DL and DBs seemed to be the best two groups on the field.

He's a big dude and said Byrum Brown is one of the most physically impressive Qbs he has seen.

Said he was impressed by Bryce Cain and Singleton out of the WR group.

Said Cobb seemed like a different player than last year, he was being vocal and talking to the young guys and trying to motivate them.
Bryson Tiller from Kansas is another name I have heard a few times.

Just a name to keep in mind right now.
Actually surprised they did it, but we have been bad since 2022 and AWFUL the past two years.
Possible visit/signing coming up.

Mantis Rubstavicius

Possible backup for KO. Good 3 pt shooter and 94% from FT line.
Flory Bidunga in the portal. I imagine he’s one we’d be after hard.
He charted at #3 without the streaming numbers. I'm sure he made triple the money he would have if it were streaming only.

Vinyl is making a huge comeback too.

There were over 1 billion dollars in vinyl sales in the US last year. First time since the late 70s.
Money, artists don't make shite from spotify/apple music.

He did say on insta that it would probably come to Itunes at some point. Artist get like 65% from Itunes sales.

Peyton Marshall

If we took Marshall we missed on literally everyone else.

Thomas Dowd

I heard his name a couple of times, but I think he'd be a little down the list.

He ends up at Ga Tech or Bama, imo.

Saw another named mentioned on twitter in Louisville transfer Sananda Fru. I have no idea if there's any smoke behind it but he is a European big from Germany so the connection to our new GM is there. 6'11 averaged 9 and 6 with 1.4 blocks per game so he's much more proven commodity

There is. One of the reasons we hired Kloman.

SP has more money to work with this offseason than we did last year.

I said in an earlier thread somewhere that SP needs to strike it rich in the Euro market because he’s gonna have a tough time selling his ‘vision’ to American recruits

It’s more about money than anything, although I have heard he’s getting a substantial bump In funding this offseason vs last.

You can get a euro player who’s played 2 years of “professional basketball” for 250-500k

Where an American with the same skill set is going to cost double that.

Goes back to what I said about overseas recruiting in the Recruit thread. Going to be a big emphasis in this class.
Narcisse Ngoy is a name to watch in this class, 7'0 center, 7'6 wingspan, averaged 10.3 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 2.7 bpg.

I think we're going to see an emphasis on the international market in this class.

Dr. Abbot could be the star of this show with good writing. Charisma with a capital C.

Id take a night shift spinoff with Abbot as the the lead. He's awesome.
