Athens GA? Worked at the club while I was in college and a walk on for the UGA golf team. Fantastic golf course.

Worked there in the late 80's when I was in school. It's a great track, the original 18 is the classic Donald Ross style. Haven't played it in 10 years but heard it's still one of the best.

It is a Ross design and built a few years prior to Augusta

UGA course underwent a major renovation lately and is really good as well.

I was more referring to the towering pine trees, lush grass and elevation changes. Definitely different from S. Louisiana golf.
