Pure speculation on my part. I know his NFL career has been plagued with serious injuries. Falcons signed him last year I think and he blew his knee out in preseason. Never played a regular season snap there. Missed last year in Minnesota through injury and missed a lot of time with the Cardinals also. Maybe he was realizing his football days were over and couldn’t deal with that. I hope I’m wrong.

I maintain that the only reasons you even heard about this is because of the assholes at the AJC and the assholes running Athens-Clarke County PD plus UGAPD. The two law enforcement agencies have had stiffys for UGA students (not just student athletes) since I was enrolled in the early 90s. And the AJC goes after UGA any time it can.
