Wife and I are making a late anniversary get away next weekend to Phoenix/Scottsdale.
We will be attending the WM Open.
Any recs for dining or things to do in the greater Phoenix area? I haven’t rented a car but I’m not opposed if anything here peaks our interest.

should be prime conditions for hiking. last time i went we did a pretty tough trail, Flat Iron Trial, Superstition Mountains
There are some easier hikes closer to town re: Camelback Mountain and the upside is most of the bachelorette parties will be hiking this one
lots of great dining and drinking options in and around Old Town Scottsdale, I thought Whiskey Row was pretty neat

I recommend the Desert Botanical Garden, and Papago Park. They are right beside each other, and both are very cool.
If you are looking for more a challenge, hike up Camelback Mountain. It'll kick your butt but if you like hiking/climbing up things then you'll love it. Great views from the top.

Go to Cave Creek for a day/night. Some good old west bars, Buffalo Chip Saloon has a bull ring in the backyard you can watch live amateur bull riding. It's awesome. Several biker bars too, The Roadhouse and Hideaway are good ones. Eat at Harold's or Horny Toad
