quote:
He told his parents, who told him the only part that was his fault was getting that drunk. He also called his girlfriend, and they broke up because, in his words, he had cheated.
He said he believed his girlfriend’s new boyfriend, her ex before him, was the one who told everyone about what had happened, but he said he could not be sure.
quote:
The jury was also shown text messages from the victim’s phone, verified by the same technical forensic investigator the state called before that included an exchange with the girlfriend’s new boyfriend. In those messages, the new boyfriend wrote that he knew everything, using an expletive and a racial slur.
He also wrote: “Couldn’t tap that (the victim’s ex girlfriend) so you got to tap the mayor right?” The victim replied: “Lowkey kind of disrespectful but I tapped that too.”

Reports that Iran sent jets over Kuwait, so their air defenses were on high alert and accidentally shot down the wrong planes.
Glad all 6 pilots are OK. Could easily have been 6 added to the body count.

Avoid the crowds at CO's I-70/north central resorts, as well as Park City, UT crowds. For 10yr anniversary, go somewhere nicer and less crowded. Yall will appreciate the experience.

Just got home from Scottsdale a couple hours ago. Went to the in-laws snowbird house in north Scottsdale/Legend Trail for a week. Public courses to consider…. WeKoPa, Papago, Kierland, TPC, Grayhawk, Legend Trail, Boulders, Rancho Manana, Quintero. I’ve played them all, plus some of the private ones (Desert Mountain’s courses). Played Kierland and Legend Trail this week. Kierland is in great shape. Overall, my favorite public course is Quintero, then probably Grayhawk.

SOG super lopsided. Hellebuyck is playing amazing. Sucks the 1 goal he let through was an easy one with nobody in between him and Makar. Just snuck through.

9-6-23 article. They bought the land a couple years ago and are still in the planning stages. Howard Hughes involved with this too.....

Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. announced Monday that Chevron U.S.A. Inc. had bought more than 77 acres in Bridgeland Central, a planned community owned by the national housing development company. Jim Carman, President of the Houston Region for Howard Hughes, lauded Chevron's acquisition as "a pivotal moment for Bridgeland as the community enters its next phase of development as a leading job center for the region."
Chevron is attracted to the opportunities Bridgeland has to offer and views this acquisition as a strong addition to our asset portfolio," Daniel Abate, Head of Corporate Real Estate for Chevron, said in a Monday release. "We take pride in contributing to the communities where we live and work and are excited about the potential of establishing a research and development campus in Bridgeland to advance our work toward achieving a lower carbon energy future," Abate continued.
Chevron's purchase comes after a recent announcement of the first phase of Bridgeland Central's construction, which includes an H-E-B grocery store and "the first mass timber office development for both Howard Hughes and the 12-county Greater Houston area."
Per Monday's release, Bridgeland Central mirrors other planned communities owned by Howard Hughes Holdings in several states across the country. Most notable among them is The Woodlands, the wealthy north Houston township where Chevron Phillips set up its global corporate campus headquarters in July 2002.

Chevron is also planning to build a large campus there in that same area to rival Exxon's campus down 99 in the Woodlands.
Property values in Bridgeland and surrounding areas are about to have a nice jump.

A loan officer/broker that uses UWM. Sometimes local/regional banks and credit unions can have competitive rates too. Try a few places.
