International Flight Layover question

Flying from ATL to Portugal connecting through CDG later this year. The layover in Paris is only 1 hr 10 min.
Something in my head is saying no way I’ll make this connection.
Am I right? Do I need to rebook this with a longer layover?

We need to find the minimum connection time for CDG. 70 minutes seems quite low for international to international connection, I'd guess the minimum is 90 minutes so it's an illegal connection. Did you book this on Delta? Was there a schedule change?

I've had tight connections at CDG several times yet never missed one...pure luck!
Delta uses CDG terminal 2F. Air France flies to Lisbon from that terminal and a couple of other nearby.
One possible time-consuming step is that you may have to clear EU immigration in Paris rather than Lisbon.

Tight but you can make it if airline doesn’t screw up.

This is booked on Delta. The connecting flight was not due to a schedule change.

Okay so if that's the original itinerary, my guess is 70 min is the minimum connection time. I found on the Paris website that the minimum they recommend within the same terminal is 60 min, between terminals 90 minutes. As long as the flight to lisbon leaves from the same terminal you could be okay.

When is your flight? I'd expect at least one schedule change between now and summer flights so you'll be able to rebook for free to any flights you want at that point

I had a 35 min layover in Paris. I made my flight but my luggage didn't. I'm doing 2 hours from now on

I've flown through CDG dozens of times. I think you'll be fine. I'd be more worried about the bags. Fortunately if the bags don't make it there's probably a dozen flights a day from Paris to Portugal and they'll arrive quickly.

With CDG, it is your bags that matter. Time allotment you have is about the minimum I take going through there.
Pack at least a day's worth of clothing on a carry-on. I have had luggage lost there a couple of times. It does catch up with me, but I have worn the same 1 sets of clothes for 3 or 4 days. I was flying to Limoges thru CDG from ATL.

I’ve got a connection (ATL-CDG-Dubrovnik) there this summer and had similar question. Do you have to clear customs at CDG or at terminal stop? All flights booked through Delta. I have 2.5 hours for layover. Couldn’t find a clear answer on the google machine. Thanks for the advice.
