Just got a message about a bomb threat at OU.

Daughter messaged me and said her boyfriend who attends classes at Oklahoma just got evacuated from an event along with everyone else.
Allegedly there are police, helos and bomb squad surrounding the area. He says he physically saw a package with no markings other than the words "IGNORE THIS LIKE YOU IGNORE GENOCIDE!"
I'm at work but will update if I can.

False flag, legit threat or just a pro-Palestine extremist trying to make a point? shite has gotten ridiculous and someone close to me was right there.
ETA: This thread has evolved into a McVeigh/Waco/Ruby Ridge Colloquium, but the good news is that OKCPD gave the "all clear" so, as many hoped and expected, this turned out to be some dumbass trying to scare people.

When is the last time a bomb went off from a threat? Never. It’s more likely no threat and it happen.

Dunno but OU has had a guy in a suicide vest go off in the past 20 years during a Sooners game IIRC.

I think it’s kinda sad mcveigh was executed for what he did fairly quickly but the people in the government who killed citizens at Waco and ruby ridge never answered for it. Funny how that works
