My parents friends are letting my family stay in their rental for cheap, but it's on the Bay side, where can I drive to and park to get my kids on the beach? Is it all "public" just unwritten rules of don't set up in front of someones house?

Also anywhere good to grab take out one night?

I think the beach itself is public and wide open, but access is another issue. We rented in a Gulf side Fort Morgan neighborhood. Our house had direct access to the beach, but there were just a couple of access points for everyone else and no parking/trespassing signs in everyone’s yards near those points. It looked like locals walked or golf carted to the access points.

Jesse's on the Bay for a nice sit down meal - I'm sure takeout would be good too. Make reservations if you want a table

Not exactly sure which nights but the Village Lawn at the Beach Club has food trucks starting May 24th. LINK

Stop at Blaylocks Seafood in Gulf Shores and stock up before heading
down Fort Morgan Rd.

Sassy Bass LINK and

are ok and do take out

It works when I can't get over to Joe Patti's before heading to the beach

Better off going to Biloxi. Ft Morgan beaches and water is disgusting. Also you can see oil platforms from the shore
