Anything less than dropping all charges will be disappointing.

Interesting...
If they were dropping charges then the DA would just call his own presser and do it, so I guess they will be moving forward with charges since I would be shocked if the PD called a presser to show the world how they fricked-up.

This will end up making Scottie cool, which wasn’t happening organically.

Know a guy who dragged cop with his car. He served 5 years of a 10 year sentence.

Did he rip his $80 pair of pants?

If they move forward do we riot?

Steven Romines, Scheffler’s lawyer, told The Athletic that pole camera footage of Scheffler’s arrest outside of the PGA Championship will be made public, and the video will be consistent with Scheffler’s statements about the incident thus far.

Anyone notice how much Scottie and his cop security would joke around before tee time?

The Mayor and Police Chief will be at the press conference and
quote:
The Chief will provide her completed findings and address any policy violations.
If the arresting officer is found to have violated policy, what exactly did Scottie do wrong?

Do you think the golf channel will carry this?

This is that chief and mayors five seconds of fame... they aint dropping this for anything.
A good attorney will shred that officer on the stand. Good luck proving intent when some players were allowed to do what Scottie did whilst he was not.

I thought the DA's office wanted Scottie treated the same as any other citizen... I doubt the would go through these lengths if this was any ordinary citizen.

This stupid mother frickers aren’t dropping the charges

The cops can’t drop the charges. You realize that right?
Then publicly coming out to only say their officer didn’t follow protocol is massive for Scottie. That pretty much never happens
