Where does he fit into the pitching staff this year? As a middle reliever? Just curious because i know he started some games last year.

though i have heard PM say before that he was going to let him start our 1st game this year to reward him for last season and for coming back to LSU

I say we keep him as a reliever and I think that's what Maineri has said as well. As LE said though he will start the first game.
I think the weekend rotation will be Ranaudo, Bradshaw and Ross while the weekday starters will be Brown and a freshman.

I don't care what roles Mainieri assigns particular pitchers, so long as he's flexible about them, and doesn't get stubborn like he did in the first half of last season.

it always changes by the time sec rolls around. coleman got rocked in the fall so i hope he isnt a starter. other than ranaudo i dont know who i feel really confident with as a starter yet.

fall is a way of getting rid of problems.working out kinks.if we go by fall ziegler will break 50 homers.

he should have the same role as last year. bee the closer and play in the clutch, later innings. he can start once in a while. do what they did last year.
