Flying into Vegas from Baton Rouge on Thursday August 29th, coming home on Monday September 2nd. Staying at Harrah's. Mainly looking for recommendations that Friday as I have a whole day to kill. Saturday we have a spot booked at the Circa Pool from 8-4. Any sportsbooks a must visit? Will be there for LSU/USC. Never been to Vegas before. (Late 20's group). TIA!.

I will be there too. We are staying at the Venetian. All of the big casinos have nice spots books but my favorite is Caesar’s Palace.

Caesar’s is huge. I stayed at the Cosmopolitan this spring and was underwhelmed with the sports book. Circa’s pool viewing area looks awesome.

Circa is the best place for sports viewing and sports book at Stadium Swim. IMO You might as well change your reservations to Circa. It’s a much better hotel. By far. And worth the extra money. Harrah’s is run down and quite a bit away from Circa.
Second seeing Absinthe at Caesar’s.
Friday: go check out the other resorts. Pick a swanky upscale restaurant for dinner. See Venetian below.
The resorts are huge. They look a lot closer to each other than they really are. Bring comfortable shoes.
Resorts World and Fountainbleau are the newest resorts on the Strip. They’re way nicer than Harrah’s. Go wander through one of them.
Bellagio Fountains are a must. I usually go check them out at night.
The Venetian/Palazzo is nearby. Largest hotel in the US. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and gambling. Book Tao for dinner.
I also recommend booking Flamingo or Planet Hollywood over Harrah’s. Flamingo has a much better pool and Planet Hollywood has better rooms, casino, & restaurants. You might also check out The Linq. It’s perfect for guys your age.

Head downtown to Fremont St on Friday or night, as previously mentioned that is where Circa is and they have the best sportsbook

Thanks! My buddy had a ton of points from the Harrah's in NOLA to use so we basically got the room for the weekend free. Main reason we are staying there.

It’s a great location. Just a crap hotel. Good thing you booked Stadium Swim. You won’t be using the pool at Harrah’s… After Stadium Swim, stay downtown and check out Fremont St. Unless you’re way too lit and want to go back to the room…
Friday: Going north from Harrah’s, you’ll hit Venetian, Wynn, Resorts World, and Fountainbleau. All great to roam around. I’d recommend Ubering down to Fountainbleau and working your way back up. Uber btn FB & RW to save your legs. If you’re up for it, You can roam Venetian after dinner at Tao. Uber back to your room to spruce up for dinner. Tao has a dress code.
Get your tix for the Absinthe late show on Thurs (1030pm).
You will have to pick & choose. Don’t try to do it all. I usually do one show, a swanky dinner, a day to roam resorts & shop & gamble, and a pool day.
Check out Mandalay Bay Sunday before the game. It’s right next to Allegiant.

In Vegas this week, if you get a chance to visit the Fontainebleau, sign up for a card and get 15 bucks for slots and 15 bucks for food. Got a free pastry and coffee out of it.
Also, I love the monorail
