Bloom has talked about this frequently and always says that the movies set him up for his Pirates pay day.

It’s about to get really really cold up there in two days. Highs in the singles lasting for a week. They probably don’t want anyone dying in the elements either. That’s not the best look either.
I’d like them to get rid of 8-9 division champions making the playoffs. Let’s start there.

Cute. You think there’s no greed in socialism. The whole philosophy is based on envy.
8 is the right number. The CFP knows this. The SEC knows this. The BIG knows this.

It would work too perfectly though and fans wouldn’t ever want to expand beyond that.

But nope. We’ve got to have 3 and 4 loss teams in the playoff.
Call us when the BIG has won 7 in a row.
Really? An OSU team that lost to one of the worst Michigan teams in recent history won it all last year. This year, a Miami team that recorded inexplicable losses to SMU and Louisville could win it all.

Only the two Ole Miss games and Miami/A&M were close and the latter was a dud and the OM-UGA game was exactly the same as the regular season game with the opposite outcome.

The committee screwed up the seeding in a way that allowed for too many rematches both years.
I’ll just drop these here for comparison:

2025 IU

2019 LSU

And nobody thinks that Bama team that beat everyone’s scrubs is the best ever.
Definitely in the conversation but they squeaked out close wins vs Oregon & bad Penn State and Iowa teams. Also only beat Old Dominion by 13. Only played 3 ranked teams during the regular season.

…in games where he had to prepare for an opponent his team hadn’t already played.
How meaningless to give up her life in this way. How selfish to leave behind 3 children. How misguided to interfere in a government operation that had nothing to do with her or her family.

It’s not a sad situation

It’s very sad for those 3 children who are now orphaned.

On tours led by Capitol police…
Daily reminder: Ole Miss says good riddance to their coaches but then wants them back to coach in the playoffs.

Then files tampering complaints against them.
I’d set your home base in New Braunfels and branch out from there. Puts you smack dab in the middle of everything.

Greune Hall
Lockhart has five or six BBQ places to choose from
Hyatt Andaz and Kimpton Surfcomber (South Beach) both have beach access and small boutique hotel vibes.

Baires Grill knocked our socks off.

On a Saturday or Sunday, go hang out at South Pointe Park and watch all the cruise ships head out.
Meanwhile, her VP pick is up to his ears in a billion dollar fraud scandal. Has she commented on that?
Of course Lula would say that. He’s done the exact same things in Brazil to gain and keep power that Maduro did.

Maduro

—Blatantly ignored the results of an election
—Jailed and expelled his political opponents
—Cracked down on protests over his refusal to step down
—Allowed cartel and foreign activity that was a direct threat to the well being of the entire hemisphere

What else am I missing?
So… Pete coaches a rematch vs Tulane and a rematch vs UGA (where the unit he coaches blew a ten point lead in the 4th Q) and we’re supposed to call him a miracle worker?

I’ll reserve judgment after seeing how he does after prepping for a team they haven’t already played this year.
