Inside edge is worn on one tire. Other side has normal wear. Both tires are same age. Single axle 12’ trailer. Hauls a 600lb ATV. Hitch setup is level.

What are the options to adjust the camber? Bent axle? Bent spindle? Spring busted/misaligned? All of the above?

Likely towed out a small amount. How many miles or years is that amount of wear?

This is usually either a bad bearing in the hub or (hopefully) just a small amount of play between the hub and spindle that’s allowing the wheel to tilt. The easiest thing to do is tighten up the castle nut and pack with fresh grease. The wheel should still spin freely, but you should not be able to tilt the wheel at all. Over the years I’ve seen several that are just flat out loose from the factory, causing inside wear on the tire exactly like that. 1/4 turn on the castle nut and a new cotter pin and the wheel sits and wears straight again.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Shook the tire and there is quite a bit of play. Must be a loose castle nut.

Thank you.

Never underestimate the importance of proper bearing preload.

When I do trailers- run the castle nut down hand tight, then put your socket on it and put it “kinda tight” NOT Ugga Dugga tight. Back off 1/4 turn. Line up with next closest loose slot for the cotter key.

Like subMOA said I tighten my castle nut as hard as I can to make sure the wheel is seated good then back it off.

Our 12' atv trailer hit a curb with a little speed and bent the axle and we went through a couple of tires before we decided to change the axle out. I won't say who did it but she isn't allowed to drive the trailer any longer.

Seems like you found the issue but a bent axle would cause uneven tire wear.
