He is the NBA PA president and helped negotiate the new CBA, which has stronger financial penalties that is causing constriction around the league.

I think cj helped negotiate the new salary cap which made it more expensive when teams go over salary cap, i could be wrong though

The more teams that think they have a chance, the more that will bid on guys and drive up their FA market price
