This drives me crazy about Your Honor with Bryan Cranston

We watched the series when it was originally on and enjoyed it. I just watched the first episode again with my son. People who aren't familiar with NOLA wouldn't realize this but the way they drive across the greater NOLA bridge makes me crazy.
When Adam is driving from his house (obviously somewhere in or near the Garden District), he drives over the bridge to the west bank to get to the Lower Ninth District ~ which is on the east bank.
Also, when the judge is driving to the police station, once again they go over the bridge.
I guess they decided cinematography was more important than fact.
Rant over.

It is.
It's a TV show, not a documentary.

The accuracy of the geography is what bothers you about that show? Cranston's character being an unbelievably stupid individual, for a judge, is what bothered me.

Quite silly to get worked up about.
Duh.

You can tell this show has hit the Netflix bc nobody talked about it week to week as it was going and now we have threads daily about this mediocre arse show

Don’t all judges secretly visit crime scenes and cross examine police witnesses as if he was the defense counsel?

Are we also to believe the judge jogged from Uptown, to the Lower 9th then to Tulane and Broad?
They shoot locations not actual routes.

Wife's watching this show. Trying to be less vitriolic about her show choices, but this show blows. No one to root for, everyone is either stupid or scummy. The only reason most people are watching it is for the "NOLA" aspect.

The whole show is ridiculous.
The entire portrayal of the criminal court system is ludicrous and Cranston's character is the stupidest individual on the planet.

Sounds very unrealistic. They probably didn't even have anyone attempt to shoot him on the highway or carjack him at any point.

I love how they run out of the hotel in the Quarter & in the next scene the chase continues at Carrollton & Oak which is 6 miles away Uptown.
Also the Judge who helps rip off the shirt of the kid to show gang ties. Al Sharpton would be on a plane to New Orleans the next day. Just countless unrealistic things happen in this show.
