Glad to see they did away with that idiotic grip safety on the shield.
They look good.
ETA: Interesting that on the metal Carry Comp, the slide is stamped Maryville, TN the frame is stamped Springfield, MA

Those were only on Shield EZs. The regular shield/plus did not have a grip safety.
Those were on there because the EZ was marketed and made for old people and women, who couldn't rack a slide or use a proper safety, or someone who wasn't comfortable with just a trigger safety.

That's right. Remember that now.
My SIL had one. She had issues with not disengaging the safety when she gripped the gun. I got her to sell it.

I have a metal 2.0 and it’s a fantastic gun. Great trigger.

A lot of EZs were also in 380, not just 9mm.
