My son is in Lonoke hunting this morning with his roommate at AR

There are lots of birds there after this front. Not sure how many they’ve killed but birds are flying according to the videos he’s sent.
I have a 12g in a 686 onyx.

It fits me perfectly and points very easily. They’re great guns.

Predator control again tonight.

Tippah Cnty, MS box blind with electronic call
Little to no wind and cloudy with rain scattered.
48 degrees
AR with thermal in .223 wylde

Had a bobcat and skunk visit last week. Looking for a coyote as mating season is kicking off for them.

Ran off a doe walking in.

You’re jerking or not squeezing the trigger

He forgot ugly. They're all fat, horrendous looking hags.
What year is the truck?

Any chance it was locked?

How's the noise on those low backpressure jobs? Ive never shot one.

I can only speak to my Cat WB which is a low back pressure can.

Sound is as quiet or quieter than my other cans on my AR (the WB is a dedicated .22 can vs me using .30 cal).

One of the more noticeable things to me is the lack of gases that you get in face.

AR with a standard can is bad about gases in your face.
I wonder if / how magnetic north movement affects migration.

Since 1990 magnetic north has moved ~ 600 miles from Canada towards Siberia.

If birds use some sort of magnetic navigation you'd think that would affect their migration.

Makes me wonder about weather patterns as well. The last 20yrs we have seen tornado alley shift east from the plains to the midwest/south.

You forgot retarded as well.

Recently talked to someone that is in the large carnivore program, for LDWF and he said there was a large influx of PETA type program applications (tree hugging vegans) and some of the tags went to those folks as well. Win win for the department from cash flow but undermines the effectiveness of the program. They are gonna try and develop a work around procedure moving forward to weed out bogus applications.

Can any LA resident apply for a tag or does one need to be a current hunting license holder?

You'd think the tree huggers are not license holders and it would be pretty easy to limit tags to current license holders to weed those out.

Is it a canebrake?

Definitely venomous but not sure. The breed.

I have never had a home inspection or home warranty benefit me.....the small print eventually wins.

After my dad died, my mom ended up selling the house. It was too much to keep up.

Had the home inspection and it was all fine according to the report.

Later the new owners discovered part of the roof was leaking and had rotted the flooring under the wall it was running down.

The inspector was on the hook for the repair.

They really missed the boat on this one.

Non-threaded barrel is just stupid.
20+ years ago my wife and my parents did a trip to Whitefish, MT.

Spent most of the time in Glacier and one day traveled up into Canada to see Watertown Lakes and Prince of Wales lodge.

My dad and I booked a trip on the middle fork of the flat head. It was an amazing trip and I’d recommend anyone that hasn’t been to Glacier to go. It’s beyond words.

This right here

I have 2 reveal cameras. I put lithium batteries in them with the solar chargers in around March of 2025 and haven’t touched them since

Inside waist band or outside?

Desantis makes a good leather holster for both.

I read that this one was 1870 to 19-15 and they made about 54,000 so that's a pretty significant number. I do see them for sale in original shape for around 1500 to 2k

This one is different than those I believe. It’s stamped .44 S&W/Russian

Less than 300 made.

A revolver stamped .44 spec will accept .44 Russian and they made many of those like you see.

I could be completely wrong. However.
