Baton Rouge Ecodiesel repair

Anyone have any recommendations on where to take my Ram Ecodeisel for repair in BR?
I"m not taking it to the dumbass dealership Matt Bowers as those idiots have no idea how to diagnose an Ecodiesel.
I've had the check engine light on for a while b/c of the DPF. It would occasionally go out if i went on a long trip, as in 1000+ miles. I've done the manual regen and it still won't go off. Now I'm getting a "service throttle control" warning. I've pulled the codes and it all points to the DPF being clogged beyond repair now, so i'm expecting to have to replace that, but i want to make sure they are checking everything else as well to make sure there are no other issues.
Is Coy's Diesel a good reliable place for an Ecodiesel?

Deleting it would be far less expensive than fixing what's there.

Thanks pal. I didn't pay for the truck. My company did with the allowance they gave me, with the stipulation that i had to have a vehicle that got 27mpg, and the ecodiesel was the only option that wasn't a chick car.
I would much rather just do the delete, but i don't think you can do that while you have your check engine light on, at least that's what i've read.

If you’re looking for somewhere other than a dealership try Diesel Avenue.

I have an Ecodiesel as well. 170k on the truck, have had a couple minor issues, it’s been solid for the most part.
Easily my favorite truck out of all that I have had.

I miss my Eco Diesel. I traded it in as soon as I got that settlement check though. Lol

did you delete it at some point?
I drove the hell out of mine for 2.5 years, put about 80,000 miles on it. Had zero issues.
Then I got a new job and I work from home now so my truck turned into a taxi to bring my kids to and from school and practices around town, and not getting on the interstate enough for long drives.
I've put 25,000 miles on it in the last 3 years, and my check engine light has been on for most of that with the DPF code.
I don't want to go get a delete kit and do all of that, and the extra power ends up blowing up my engine b/c there's other issues that have been caused by the clogged filter over the last year or so. I'm not even wanting to get all this extra power with the delete. I just want the stupid DEF crap gone. There's deletes that leave the current exhaust system in place, but that just seems silly to me.
The issue here is it's difficult to have a conversation with a competent mechanic while talking about deleting the truck as well. It seems like if you delete the truck, you're pretty much on your own, so if you don't know how to diagnose errors and what not, you're up a shite creek b/c you can't bring it anywhere to get it checked.

Mine does a lot of short trips as well, as well few long trips a year. I’m going to say that the pre ban GDE tuned ecms work really well.
I use hotshots edt or opti lube every fill up.
Have you gotten the CP4 hpfp recall done yet?

Don't think so. When did that come out?

It’s been out for over a year but they didn’t mail the letters till like the first of the year. They are supposed to install a new hpfp and whatever else is needed to do it. Recall Z46
