I've been waiting for months to get a giant turboswing and they finally are in stock, and have one en route.

Has anyone ever mounted one of those things themselves? I'm trying to decide if it's something that's fairly easy or if it's better to have it taken to a boat shop.

Thanks.

ETA--I have a jackplate and I think they can be mounted to that.

I installed one about 2 years ago. It took about 15 minutes tops.

They are awesome for pulling tubes, etc...

My old arse still wake boards, so I'm looking forward to it. Did you install it to the transom or do you have a jackplate?

I have one on my boat and it works great! The mounting brackets are installed on the jack plate and are super easy to install. The only thing I don't like is that it is hard to take on and off from inside the boat without hitting the motor and my power poles will hit it when I deploy them and they said the power poles would clear it. Might just be my model boat.
