What should I expect to pay to have a fluted barrel threaded?

Guys in N. LA run from $100-125. Clark Custom Guns in Princeton, LA also shows a price of $125, but when I picked up my gun, there was an additional "shop setup fee" of $40 or so. Be sure whatever price they quote you is their complete price.
ETA: This prices are for a non-fluted barrel.

In B'ham, it is about the same. I paid $135 for my non-fluted barrel last week.

I was quoted $150 for the fluted barrel.

Isn’t it crazy how a 4” pistol Barrel can be the same price as a 16” rifle barrel?
Also crazy how I bought truck AR for under $400 while a glock 19 still costs $539.
Huge disparity in metal volume.

So long as you aren’t also chopping it down and it doesn’t run all the way from end to end fluting shouldn’t impact threading in any way. Your typical tikka superlite fluting is a complete non-factor given it has between 2-4” not fluted at the end depending on chambering. What can impact the price is the barrel contour, a thin sporter where there’s a lot less margin for error could get a pain in the arse fee tacked onto it.

To chuck them in a lathe and cut the same size threads in them? Nah, not really.

Nope I’m just talking about barrel prices to purchase. Not thread them.

They both are gonna require a similar amount of machining. You’re not paying by the ounce, you’re paying by the hour.
