re: Lane is just on a completely different level when it comes to the portal

We had the #1 portal class last year though, no?
And that was with peak lazy Kelly playing golf and scratching his balls. I’m all-in on Kiffin, but how did we manage the #1 portal class last year?
Yes, we had the #1 portal class last year, as well. And yes, that didn't stop us from having a bad season. OTHO, it very possible to have a highly ranked portal class (LSU '25) and yet NOT adequately meet your team needs (LSU '25). In particular, we didn't adequately address desperate needs in the OL. Think of what an impact it might've been to substitute only an above average OL for a very highly ranked WR like Nic Anderson? Your ranking in the portal might've dropped, but your team would've been better. In addition, CLK is bringing in a lot more multi-year players than what we saw w/ CBK. Many of CBK's guys were one and done. CLK doesn't have many guys w/ only 1 year of eligibility left.

I'm so glad Lane gets to make these decisions and not recruiting board posters on this web site.
True dat! After all, CLK knows him better than we do as a result of having him on the Ole Miss team this past season.

The voices on those are terrible. You can tell immediately when a video has an AI voice because of its inflection on certain words and it makes the whole thing unwatchable. Awful.
Once I'm convinced it's AI voice, change videos

He’s a talented WR
He didn't look talented last year. Was that due to our offensive scheme, WR rotation or subpar QB is open to speculation. OTOH, It's also possible the injury robbed him of some of his talent so that he wasn't the same receiver post injury.

Yeah but he will have a Michigan degree and their network.
Maybe? Or maybe he becomes one of those players who ends up in the portal the next year. I'd like to see a breakdown on what percentage of guys in the transfer portal enter the portal multiple times. It seems like we se a lot of guy who xfer more than once.

I do wish presently that we had made a better effort to retain some of these guys.
Maybe we did?? Although we're on the outside looking in, we think we know the details of every interaction between the new staff and players. But guess what, we don't know..... It'll remain a mystery to us what went on and how much an effort was made to keep the departed players.

Hippa is unlikely an issue.
Yeah, reviewing the records should be as simple as getting Levitt's signature on the appropriate medical release form. The MD likely wouldn't even need a CD of the X-ray images. The images can be electronically transmitted over the internet and viewed wherever, as long as there's internet access.
I have a hard time imagining that a detailed review of the injury, operation, X-ray images, follow up exams and rehab progress weren't done by the LSU medical staff. After all, Leavitt is a multi-million dollar investment. A miss w/ him would really damage LSU's hopes for a "good season" next year. And at LSU, a "good season" now means going to the playoffs.

HaHa! Prime Robin Williams was so funny!
I'm not miserable, I'm enjoying myself. In fact, gonna load #50 rounds for the 20 VarTarg tonight.

I think Tigeronthehill's gun purchasing decisions went the same way as robin williams' description of inventing golf - how can we make this as difficult and miserable as possible?

I've got one and I'm pleased w/ it. I run it on my 20 VarTarg bolt action handgun.

We gotta use him for a pooch punt here and there for the hell of it
I was thinking the same thing. Or pooch punt on 4th and too long to comfortably go for it from near midfield. OTOH, I don't see CLK punting many times from that position when he can actually go for the first.

My Kahr is the CW9. Incredible ergonomics especially if you don't have giant hands. I only stopped carrying the Kahr due to the increased capacity of the P365
I understand. I used to carry my CM9 a lot before and I was content w/ it, then the kids got me a P365. I got a CW9 just before the Sig, This was during the heigh of Covid when ammo was hard to find.. Unfortunately, I didn't shoot/carry the CW9 enough to bond w/ it before the P365 showed up. Now the both Kahrs get little love. A neat thing about the CM9 was that it was small enough for pocket carry w/ the right slacks. In addition CW9 mags can be used in the CM9.

They’re pretty transparent nowadays on ship times and in stock vs out of stock. They even email you immediately afterwards if your item isn’t in stock.
Glad to hear they've improved, but the other places I order from either don't allow you to order a product that's not in stock or immediately put it on back order if you choose.
I'll put them back on the list of websites I check one I'm looking to buy something. Thx.

Still haven’t got my scope from optics planet for that 10/22 yet.
I hope you get it soon, but from my prior experience w/ Optics Planet, don't hold your breath. After being burned by OP one too many times, I no longer even check their prices. Multiple times I've ordered an item from them but when they didn't send me tracking information, I'd check and find out the item had not been shipped and was not in stock. :banghead:
