Wicked Little Letters

Watched this tonight on Netflix. Was pleasantly surprised as I knew nothing about what I was getting into.
Some of you will complain about the woke casting within, but if you move past that. It's a funny little English movie inspired by true events.
Premise: Rowdy, uncouth Irish woman and her child move to a prim and proper little neighborhood in England just after WWI. Then, a series of anonymous "vulgar" and insulting letters start showing up at people's homes and throws the town and the country into an uproar.
The Irish lady is the automatic bad seed and has to face trial for it.
It may not be everyone's taste, but it held mine and my teenage son's attention. The latter is much harder to do these days. I laughed a lot, but the humor was my sort of taste.

Enjoyed it and like you had no idea what it was going in. It's interesting that it was based on a true story.

Watched this tonight and enjoyed it as well. Getting to hear Olivia Coleman say all kind of filthy stuff was really fun.
