Just started watching this show. Finishing the first season tonight. It has been pretty good so far.

Was curious if it was worth committing to all 6 seasons. I don't want to put a ton of time into it if there is a boring/terrible ending like GoT or Umbrella Academy.

Floki by far is my favorite character.

I didn't make it through the whole series the first time I watched, but I went back a couple of months ago and watched the whole thing. In my opinion it goes downhill a little bit after the first couple of seasons but I still enjoyed it overall.

Yep. It's a fun show but certainly starts to decline a bit as it goes into deeper seasons.

I would recommend watching it all if you enjoyed the first season.

I enjoyed all 6 seasons.

there were parts of the last 2 that weren't great, but overall was pretty good.

It does go down after the first couple of seasons but I still enjoyed it. I just also finished Vikings Valhalla which left some holes in its ending that could have been answered with one or two more episodes but still also enjoyed that one.

You are also correct, Floki is the GOAT character for Vikings.

I'd like to disagree, but don't want to give away any spoilers for the guy who hasn't seen whole series yet.

I am pretty sure I know who you are going to mention, he was number 2 for me. He is also a great character.

It’s one of my favorite series of all time. I was absolutely obsessed when I binged it during the summer of Covid. So much so that I bought a Viking horn to drink out of while I watched I still routinely look up scenes on YouTube. All the characters are amazing, Ragnar, Floki, Lagertha, Bjorn. Ivar was a polarizing character but I loved him too.

Won’t say to much but there’s a big event that happens about half way through the series that turned a lot of people off, but IMO it was still great after. I also thought they nailed the final season and wrapped it up nicely. Definitely stick with it. If you’re not hooked by time they attack France then it’s not for you

I bought a set of 4 that I still drink out of regularly.

I even designed my own Hnefatafl Board that I'm going to get made and try to learn how to play it.

First couple seasons are great, like a lower budget Game of Thrones that cuts out a lot of the filler. It starts to noticeably decline somewhere around season 4. The last two seasons are noticeably lower quality, but still an enjoyable show, but some of the best characters aren't around anymore due to a time jump to focus on the exploits of their children. The kids are a mixed bag as to whether you'll like them or not.

Loved the whole series. First few seasons were fantastic. After the big event that changed everything, it fell off a bit. Still a great show though. Unlike many other shows, this one ends satisfyingly.

It's a good show. First few seasons are actually great but the last few aren't so great. I would marry Lagertha Lothbrook.

I enjoyed the premise of switching to the sons of Ragnar in the later seasons. Not many series would propose replacing successful, established cast and focusing on their ancestors, but it was necessary for the story/lore

Currently on the last season of Last Kingdom. The DEI gets pretty cringe, and it has gone full Girl-Boss, but I am determined to finish. Vikings is next.
