Stay away from the sequel series to Vikings, Vikings: Valhalla. It sucks.

glad I'm not the only one.
I tried a couple times and just couldn't get in to it.

shouldn't he have been practicing in Buffalo for the playoff game this weekend?
i’m someone who does not care about basketball at all.
i would prefer all of that money go to baseball instead.

but im also someone that runs an entire division of a company.

and one thing that is universally true in business is “the division that turns the biggest profit, gets the most money pumped back in to it”.

so football gets by far the biggest chunk.
then men’s basketball.

that’s who brings the money into the department, so that’s who gets it back.

it’s really that simple.

whether men’s basketball “earned” it or not really isn’t relevant.
the Basketball TV contract, and the money from March Madness (that LSU gets without even participating) is massive.

so basketball gets the funding.

period.
quote:

Is it really too much to ask baseball and football to take like a 2-4% paycut? The thing about NIL for basketball is you only need 1 or 2 great players to turn around a program

baseball is already taking a backseat to basketball in revenue sharing.

just spending money alone doesn’t fix the issues.
HOW you spend the money a what matters.

I think LSU should have fought for at least 25 million

neither side wants to end up in a public court battle.

both sides know all the dirty laundry the other side has.

I preferred Vikings over The Last Kingdom, but both were very well done.

He can only use his pivot foot in that case and cannot move both feet

I posted the exact language of the rule and even a screenshot of the page in the rule book with it highlighted.

the inbounder can move both feet all he wants and does not have to use a pivot foot.

he only has to keep at least one foot within a 3 foot "designated area" side to side, but can go backwards as far as the gym has room for him to move backwards.

Pivot foot restrictions and the traveling rule are not in
effect for a throw-in.

Could have been LSU’s head coach

college and NFL are completely different worlds from each other.

being an NFL assistant for his entire career will have him much more prepared to be a head coach in the NFL than college at this point.

Also, they have security cameras but no one notices the gf getting attacked for the length of time it took for cooper to enter the bar, have the conversation with the bar tender, show him a picture then stroll out to the back to interrupt the attack?

having the cameras doesn't mean they have someone monitoring them 24/7.
they could be in some back closet somewhere and only reviewed when necessary.

So why do officials always point downward to the floor right before handing the ball to the inbounder when it is not following a made shot?

he's "marking" the designated spot.

and as long as at least one foot remains in (or over) that designated spot, the player can do whatever the hell he wants with his feet.
quote:

I don't recall this ever being called. If it is a rule, post it.

i already posted it to prove him wrong.

you can move both feet all you want.
you’re just limited in how far you can move side to side.

quote:

LSU is one of maybe 3 schools that makes money in baseball

it every year, but they have done so several times.
quote:

You can only do that after a made basket. This was after missed free throw, rebound and timeout. I believe tigersbb is correct

after a basket you can run along the baseline.

on a regular inbound from the side you can’t move outside of a 3 foot area side to side (you can move backwards as far as there is room in the gym).

but you can move both feet.

i posted the exact wording from the rulebook in my previous post.
quote:

Nope, not unless the inbound is after a basket. Chandler was standing on the letter "I" and moved over to the T before he threw it.

directly copied from the NCAA rule book

quote:

Art. 8. The following pertain to a designated spot:
a? The designated spot is the location at which a thrower-in is presented
disposal of the ball out of bounds as in Rules 4-11.1.a through .c.
b? The designated spot shall be 3 feet wide with no depth limitation.
c? The thrower-in must keep one foot on or over the designated spot until
the ball is released. Pivot foot restrictions and the traveling rule are not in
effect for a throw-in.

d? The thrower-in shall not leave the designated spot until he has released the
ball and the thrown-in ball has crossed the plane of the sideline or end line.
e? In arenas or gyms where there is insufficient space along the out-of-bounds

as long as at least one foot is still within a 3 foot area he can move both feet.
