I’ve seen a couple of answers and not sure what’s right. The front caliper brake bracket bolt torque is anywhere from 160 to 203. Seems high. I don’t want to sheer off a bolt. Any suggestions?

Make sure it’s the actual caliper bolt torque vs the mounting bracket bolts.

Call a dealer if there’s a doubt. Always torque caliper bolts to the proper amount…don’t ask me how I know

I’m referring to the mounting bracket bolt. Not the caliper bolt.

My bracket bolts on my 2016 f150 were 160ft/lbs if i remember correctly. I just replaced the hub assembly on my truck a month or so ago.
