Make sure it’s not in store/demo mode….if it’s still reading 1.9’ then it sounds like bad transducer ans/or bad connection.

Do a quick Google search on this and there are others with same issue.
Covers Unlimited is amazing, but pricey

Agree you need a younger fishing partner to learn the ropes on boat ownership.
Revenue and margin are very different numbers

Goop Off and hand sanitizer will work wonders. Finger nail is the single best tool to not scratch paint.
Gas and propane doesn’t expire within reasonable timeframes to use

Bought the ‘68 a few years ago from a local owner. He had restored in 2000.

Give us a pic….you drive it at all?
$278/ea on Amazon….figure $1K for new tires. Def add keyed lug nut afterwards. My T4R didn’t come with them but Tundra did.

4Runner, FJ Cruiser or Xterra with a manual transmission. Basic maintenance and they will drive a LONG time. All are easy to work on as well.
Had one many years ago spliced into the negative line as well. I’d wire it up that way and test it.

Something about making sammiches

My 2 are still going strong. I did buy a drain plug that supposed keeps the vacuum lock from being so strong. Have not given it a test ride.

I have used mine in direct comparison on RTIC and Yeti…and the one lacking colors does a better job.

re: Launching a bay boat solo - tips?

Yes tie long bow rope to trailer…also helps if you get pretty close to dock for stepping on boat. I solo launch my 22’ bay boat all the time.

Good luck
Very well run business operations and customer service. Only place I will go and there’s a nationwide network for flats when traveling.

Hell I like them so much, I’ll “tip” a suitcase of beer. Have 5 sets of ties and dual axle boat trailer with their tires.
