Inconclusive - there isn't a good angle to see when he hits the ground does the ball move - call on the field stands

That’s a catch for a TD

Nice work

Don’t see how that was overruled

Had one kid at the game and he said ball was let go when he hit the ground.
One sideline angle all you can see is someone’s arm blocking exactly where the ball would be when WR landed.

My oldest who graduated from there in May said word from others said they were very lucky on the call with how much the ball was moving

No

And definitely no conclusive evidence to overturn the call either

This.

They fricked Central.

Could State still won it on the last play, sure. But there wasn’t enough there to overturn the call on the field (who had perfect positioning btw).

I don't call a pass sitting on your shoulder pad with a hand on the ball a secure catch with his toe was on the ground. So, no.

That ball wasn't secure. I'd love to know if it moved when he landed. Call has to stand.

Inconclusive to me. Also, the receiver didn't complain one bit.

At one angle you can see the ball coming out when he rolls over

Gotta trust the man who knows....the receiver.

He didn't put up a fuss on the incomplete call, just handed the ball back to the ref...and we all know receivers will claim anything is a catch.

“The Sun Belt Conference, upon review of the complete pass call with 3 seconds remaining in the Central Arkansas at Arkansas State football game, has announced an incorrect application of the replay review process.

The replay official was focused on the firm control and body part down aspects of the act of a catch and failed to evaluate the surviving the ground aspect of a catch during the review of the play in question.

The right end zone camera shows the receiver did not survive the ground, but this camera angle was not consulted by the replay official. The replay ruling should have confirmed the on-field call of an incomplete pass.”

They have all of three fricking things to look for and he forgot one? I'm sorry that's an immediate demotion at best for that official.
