With the ramps shut down in the section between Monroe and Riverton, does anyone know if you can lock through at Riverton and gain access?
I’ve never used a lock before. Not familiar with the process

This seems more like an Outdoor Board question

I’ve never locked through there, but the locks further south will lock flatbottom aluminum boats and everything else.

Welp, I learned early this morning that the lock at Riverton does not allow small boats.
And hasn’t for three years.

I think they added some more rocks at the end of the ramp at Joe Bobs. Heard this from a fishing buddy who caught some crappie on the river Sunday. Still kind of rough to launch especially if you have a big rig
