Cleveland Should Trade Myles Garrett to Detroit

With Aiden Hutchinson going down, the Browns should be on the phone with Detroit right now. The Browns are absolutely done. Their window has closed. They need to blow it up and start over…AGAIN…and that starts by accumulating as many 1st 2nd and 3rd rounders as possible to make up for the shitty Deshaun Watson trade. Get two 1st rounders and 2nd or 3rd from Detroit. Trade Amari Cooper, David Njoku, Denzel Ward…all of them!!! Detroit wins…they’re in a win now mode and get a replacement for Hutchinson…and then when he returns, they’ll have a Garrett/Hutchinson edge rush. I’d be making that call right now!!!!! As a lifelong Browns fan, losing Garret would suck…but it’d be a smart move IMO!!!!

Dude... none of that makes any sense

How so???? Did the Lions lose Aiden Hutchinson today or not??? They need an edge rusher now. That’s going to be a big hole moving forward in the NFC North. Y’all are dumb…the Browns should ABSOLUTELY be exploring it.

And from the Lions losing Hutchinson you surmise the Browns should trade their best player to help the Lions playoff chances moving forward??? You think Garrett is the player the Browns trying to unload in a rebuild...

Sure they lost him.
They also would have to take a 25M cap hit to bring in Garrett.
The Browns will want assets, not high value contracts traded back to them.

Garett is the ONLY player that has really high value. The Browns absolutely suck. They’re about to blow it up. They might have 2-3 wins in them. They need picks!!!! The Watson trade depleted them. They haven’t had a 1st round draft pick for 3 years. Yes, trade Myles Garrett!!! We aren’t winning WITH him…Detroit is in “win now” mode. You don’t think Detroit would consider that trade? They are desperate need of an edge rusher now!

The Browns problem, much like Dallas, is their owner meddling in drafts, rosters and other operations. You hire someone to do a job. Let them do it and quit micromanaging them because they know more a out football than you ever will just by owning a team.
Washington used to have this problem with Dan Snyder. Now they have a new owner and look at well they are doing.

It makes great sense… both teams benefit. Unless the Browns use the picks to draft shitty QBs.

It really doesn't make sense. They'd be looking at another 24M in sunk cost on not going backwards on the DL.
Keep in mind they're super young, and they're just about to start seriously cycling into picking the pieces they want to retain of their young core for the mid and long term. That kind of pickup can hamstring any long term plans.
