Needing a new roof for my blind, and Thinking about trying this tactic with the idea that it would be warmer on those cold mornings. Like a greenhouse effect.

Anyone ever done similar? Downside?

Man I’d never want it to be warmer

They have heater buddies if it’s that bad. I keep heater buddies in all my blinds for the couple of 30 deg mornings we have in South Texas.

Not only that, but the more light in the blind means the more of your movement is visible to the deer. Darker the better.

Everything.

Those little small buddy heaters are cheap and work great

Find an old truck bed liner and cut the floor of it for the roof. Black plastic gets warm in the sunshine.

Put solar panels and battery so you can watch outdoor channels about hunting while you are hunting, I mean waiting.
