The Mrs. and I are heading to New York the first week of Jan. We are staying at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi. We are there for 4 days. What are some things to see, do, and eat while we are there?
TIA.

There has to be a couple dozen New York threads YTD on this and the F&DB. Use search and start making an itinerary.

You’re going to have to be way more specific for a place like New York. What you like doing, your budget for eating and drinking, etc.
Wouldn’t do Ellis Island or Statue of Liberty boat ride in January, personally. Will be cold on that water.

I've never been there, and I know there is a lot to do. If you had 4 days there what would you do? Budget for lunches would be about $50-75 and dinners $150. We want to go to Little Italy and China Town and maybe a few museums.

I’ll be there for 4 days in a couple weeks, actually. But since this is your first trip, what I would do and what I might recommend for you to do would be different.
World Trade Center should be done. Obviously picking a show on Broadway that you’d like to see. We’re going to the new John Mulaney show this year and I’m looking forward to it.
Plenty of places to grab a pizza for lunch. L’industrie, John’s on Bleeker, etc.
If you and your wife drink beer, go check out some Brooklyn breweries. If you prefer cocktails, there are a ton of great options (kaytana kitty, dead rabbit, etc.)
I’ll warn you that for dinner $150 for two people won’t go as far as you’d think (unless you don’t drink, then that would open up more options)

I definitely want to hit a few pizza places while we are there.

I kind of thought that a few minutes after I posted it.

My least favorite month to be in NYC, but there are tons of threads on this. My strategy would be to pick an area and explore that. Avoid long walks, I find lots of people get very ill from going in and out of buildings that time of year. The abrupt changes in temps messes with the immune system.

If you do one thing as a couple, do this
One of the best dates my wife and I have ever been on
