Have you guys found any good whiskey aged coffee beans? I was at a specialty Starbucks and they had a cold brew made from whiskey aged coffee beans and it was excellent. The cost of the beans was $40 for 8oz.

They might smell interesting, but I haven't enjoyed drinking the 2 I've had in the past.

Had a few different ones. Smell like bourbon when brewing, nothing really notable in the taste.

Good sales tactics.

Yeah, that’s kind of what I was thinking. The cold brew at Starbucks had a strong whiskey taste.

I appreciate your question, but you know how to make your coffee taste and smell like whiskey, for much less.

Yep, can always do like my alcoholic brother-in-law and have 1 or 2 cups of plain coffee then the rest of them during the day were more bourbon than coffee and he thought he was fooling people drinking it out of a coffee cup.

I know. You still roast your own? Why don’t you soak some in whisky for a couple weeks, roast them and report back.

I don't think that the thought has ever occurred to me that I wanted my coffee to taste more like whiskey, but without adding whiskey to it
