JR RIchards, former DIshwalla lead singer - vastly underrated

He came to Shreveport and played a private show on Wed. and a "Listening Lounge" show at the Louisiana Grandstand on Thursday.
Both were great shows. He's 57 but has the voice of a young man. He apparently works hard at voice preservation.
He wrote all the Dishwalla songs, and I'm amazed at how many good songs (that I missed back in the day) they had.
He also has great covers of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", U2's "With or Without You" and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." He had a varied diverse audience singing robustly when he closed with "Take Me Home, Country Road.'
Counting Blue Cars was damn good.

I recently discovered this song. This is the most recent video I could find.

Until I Wake Up is such a powerful song about depression. Maybe the best.
